We're Building the AI Layer for Commerce

It started with a car rental marketplace in Phoenix, Arizona called ItWhip. 47 cars, 15 cities, 189 completed bookings, $31,000+ processed. One founder, one AI dev partner, 11 months of building.

During the build, we created an AI assistant called Choe. She searched inventory, recommended cars based on what customers actually needed, compared options side by side, processed bookings, handled insurance questions, and followed up after trips. All through natural conversation. No forms. No dropdowns. No "please select your preferred date range."

It worked. Not in a demo. In production. With real customers paying real money. A guest from Seattle booked a Honda Accord for a Phoenix trip entirely through conversation with Choe. She found the car, compared insurance tiers, calculated the total with taxes, and processed the payment. The whole thing took 3 minutes.

That's when we realized something: this isn't just for car rentals. Every local business needs this. Pedro's tire shop needs an AI that knows every tire size, checks availability, books appointments, and takes payment — all through a conversation a customer starts on their phone. The salon down the street needs the same thing for haircuts. The photographer for sessions. The restaurant for reservations.

So we're extracting Choe from ItWhip and building her into a standalone platform. Choe Cloud is the AI commerce infrastructure layer. Any business can plug in, list their products, and let Choe sell for them 24/7. Free to start. Three lines of code to embed. Or no code at all — just sign up and go.

We're model-agnostic. Claude is our primary engine, but we fail over to GPT, Gemini, and Grok automatically. Your business never goes offline because one AI provider has a bad day. We're building a marketplace where developers can create industry-specific AI assistants — a "Gearhead" for auto shops, a "Bella" for salons — and sell them to businesses who want something tailored.

The mission is simple: every business deserves an AI employee. One that never calls in sick, never forgets a customer, never closes. Free to hire.

We're in private beta. The landing page is live at choe.cloud. The auth system is built. The database schema covers tenants, guests, developers, bookings, payments, disputes, reviews, and a full marketplace. The AI engine extraction from ItWhip starts next week.

If you run a local business and want to be one of our first 10 clients, email hello@choe.cloud. If you're a developer who wants to build custom AI assistants, sign up at choe.cloud/signup/developer.

Let's build the skyscraper.
